On November 1st, just after 10 PM, an Airbus A320 operated by Qatar Airways from Doha landed at Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, signaling the start of regular flights on the route from one of the biggest airline networks in the world. Customers of Qatar Airways will now have easy access to Ras Al Khaimah with just an hour’s flight from Hamad International Airport, the airline’s hub in Doha.
The collaboration between Qatar Airways and the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) will improve international travel to Ras Al Khaimah as part of the emirate’s plan to improve global connectivity. The flights will take advantage of Qatar Airways’ extensive global network of over 160 destinations, including one-stop connections from European cities, Ras Al Khaimah’s primary source markets, to provide more choice, flexibility, and opportunities for foreign visitors wishing to explore the nature Emirate.
