  • Mexico cruises

For passengers sailing from the West Coast, where Carnival presently provides itineraries ranging from quick weekend getaways to 15-day cruises, the new sailings from Long Beach offer more possibilities. Popular locations including Catalina Island, California, and Ensenada and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, are included in the new itinerary.

A variety of four-, five-, and six-day sailings have been added to Carnival Firenze’s deployment schedule; the six-day itineraries include a two-day stop at Cabo San Lucas. The recently released itineraries for Carnival Radiance include a number of three-, four-, and five-day alternatives.

Carnival has added a second sailing for Carnival Firenze in the spring of 2026, bringing the ship’s first voyage closer to April 25, 2024, in addition to the new choices that are currently available for purchase from fall of 2025 through spring of 2026. Leaving from Long Beach, the ship will set sail for a seven-day voyage that will stop in Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlán, and Cabo San Lucas.

When the 4,126-guest Carnival Firenze debuts in Long Beach the following year, it will offer Carnival Fun Italian Style experiences. The ship’s Italian architecture, which takes its cues from Florence, Italy, is intended to blend in with the city’s dining and bar areas, including the recently opened Il Viaggio specialty restaurant, and its distinctive entertainment offerings, which include an Italian-themed deck party on Lido that has been a hit on sister ship Carnival Venezia. Before Carnival Firenze makes its debut in the spring of next year, further information will be released.
