The World Tourism Film Awards’ 35th edition will take place in Valencia, Spain. This event, which is scheduled for November 22 at Oceanogràfic València’s Auditorium Mar Rojo, is a celebration of the best travel videos and ads from across the world in 2023.
In order to win the coveted title of “World’s Best Tourism Films of the Year” in five thematic categories—City, Region, and Country Promotion, Tourism Products, and Tourism Services—the World Tourism Film Awards will bring prominent figures from the tourism and audiovisual industries to the city.
“We are thrilled that Valencia has once again been selected by the World Tourism Film prizes organizers to host the presentation of their esteemed prizes. We are able to position ourselves as a cutting edge destination since it gives marketing and tourism promotion professionals a chance to come to our city and see directly the significant work we are doing in this area, according to Valencia City Councillor for Tourism Paula Llobet.
The World Tourism Film Awards are being held in Valencia for the third year running with this edition. Valencia is the perfect location for this remarkable event because of its magnificent scenery, rich cultural legacy, and unwavering dedication to innovation in the travel and audiovisual industries.
“The World tourist Film Awards serve as a platform to motivate the tourist sector to achieve new heights while also celebrating innovation in communication within the industry. Alexander V. Kammel, Director of CIFFT, said, “We are excited to be in Valencia, a city known for its boundless enthusiasm for both tourism and filmmaking, to recognize the World’s Best Tourism Films.”
Over 3,000 promotional videos from about 50 countries competed for the title of World’s Best Tourism Film in the CIFFT Circuit 2023, an exclusive competition that unites corporate and tourism film festivals globally to honor the best audiovisual productions in the travel and tourism sector.
The enormous skill in tourist video creation was highlighted by the World tourist Film Awards the year before. Videos from Qatar Tourism, Tourism Australia, Business Iceland, Madrid Destino, Catalan Tourist Board, Turismo Andalucía, Visit Valencia, and other Spanish creations were among the winners.
This event, which is presented by Visit Valencia, the Region of Valencia, and the International Committee of tourist Film Festivals (CIFFT), has made a name for itself as the leading forum for honoring excellence in the tourist video production industry. The Primus Hotel and Oceanogràfic València are also supporting this year’s event.
