Launch of Pan Pacific Orchard in Singapore by Pan Pacific Hotels Group

Launch of Pan Pacific Orchard in Singapore by Pan Pacific Hotels Group

With eye-catching biophilic design, Pan Pacific Orchard continues the brand’s rollout of Graceful Luxury. As part of its build and asset enhancement strategy, which will see the completion of nine new Pan Pacific Hotels as well as the renovation of existing properties over the course of four years, Pan Pacific Hotels Group announces the official opening of Pan Pacific Orchard, the first completely new property in Singapore.

With its distinctive biophilic design developed in partnership with award-winning architectural company WOHA, Pan Pacific Orchard, which was built concurrently with the substantial renovation of the existing Pan Pacific Singapore, continues the brand’s reinvention as a significant luxury player. This architectural marvel, which rises into the Orchard Road skyline, invites visitors into a lush resort sanctuary, in contrast to ordinary city hotels.

The Pan Pacific London, Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Kuala Lumpur, BELLUSTAR TOKYO, A Pan Pacific Hotel, Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Nairobi, and Pan Pacific Jakarta are also part of the group’s enhancement strategy, which was implemented in 2021. Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Orchard and Pan Pacific Perth are two assets that have received improvements.

According to Choe Peng Sum, CEO of Pan Pacific Hotels Group, which also owns the PARKROYAL COLLECTION and PARKROYAL brands, “the overall strategy for the Pan Pacific brand refresh is to cater to the changing perceptions of luxury.”

“We were actively planning for our recovery during the pandemic,” he said. “In order to incorporate what we already knew as well as emerging new trends into our developments, we went back to the plans we had made before to COVID. One of them was the changing face of luxury and how we would create our own contemporary interpretation of it.

The phrase “graceful luxury” was created to define Pan Pacific’s deliberate approach to luxury and to address the demands of the expanding demographic of educated travelers who prioritize meaningful encounters and distinctive designs over flashy extravagance.

In conjunction with well-known architects and interior designers, PPHG has so concentrated on thoughtful architecture and design. At Pan Pacific Orchard, architects WOHA designed a City within Nature set in a remarkable biophilic building that highlights four high-volume outdoor settings, Forest, Beach, Garden, and Cloud, each with over 14,000 square meters of lush vegetation and water elements.

The 237-room Pan Pacific London, where the brand’s transforming journey began in 2021, is defined by its bold and modern design, which skilfully incorporates Southeast Asian influences into interiors that mirror the Garden City. It is also distinguished by genuine Singaporean food and service.

Pan Pacific London has continuously received the highly sought-after 5-stars in Forbes Travel Guide. It is situated in the center of the city inside the bustling Bishopsgate Plaza and was designed by the award-winning London firm PLP Architects with interiors by Yabu Pushelberg and Tom Dixon’s Design Studio.

In order to realize its vision of Pan Pacific Version 2.0 at Pan Pacific London, Pan Pacific Orchard, and Pan Pacific Singapore, the group spent more than half a billion dollars overall, he continued.

The 97-room BELLUSTAR TOKYO, A Pan Pacific Hotel is located in Japan and took up the top floors of a brand-new skyscraper in Shinjuku when it debuted in May 2023. The hotel, which is topped by five penthouses, was created by Copenhagen’s Norm Architects and Tokyo’s Keiji Ashizawa Design, who also created the spa and three eateries.

Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Nairobi, which recently opened in June of this year, and Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Kuala Lumpur, which debuted in 2022 in the heart of Bukit Bintang, both extended the new idea of gracious luxury through thoughtful designs intended to create a sanctuary for our long stay visitors.

The soon-to-open Pan Pacific Jakarta, part of the integrated development integrating retail, leisure, and business space at one of Jakarta’s most renowned locations, is the group’s latest effort to grow the brand. All of the spacious, high-ceiling guestrooms, which occupy the top 10 floors of the 90-story skyscraper and boast interior designs by the famous hospitality design firm HBA, will enjoy unobstructed views of the bustling city.

The collaboration with these aspirational designers was essential to achieving our goal of providing exquisite luxury. Each of the hotels has a unique style, including Pan Pacific London’s design, which blends Southeast Asian influences with classic British design, Pan Pacific Orchard, a striking biophilic structure that integrates sustainable features throughout the 23-story building, and Pan Pacific Jakarta’s luxurious yet elegant spaces. All of these wonderful designs, however, are supported by our steadfast brand promise: thoughtful, real service, wherever we may be. Our idea of luxury, graceful luxury, is this blend of style and substance, he remarked.
