World Travel Market

As World Travel Market London announces significant developments, ticket sales begin

The world’s most important travel & tourism event, World Travel Market London, which takes place from November 6–8, 2023, at Excel London, is now accepting ticket reservations from the international travel community.

The fact that organizers are making it possible for attendees to purchase tickets well in advance of this year’s event and have revealed a number of innovative and exciting improvements demonstrates the power of the tourism industry to alter the world.

After doing extensive consumer research toward the end of last year, WTM London has announced a number of changes to enhance the attendee experience and guarantee that every member of the travel industry gets the most out of the event.

This year, WTM London will open its doors an hour earlier than usual, at 09:30 am, allowing attendees and exhibitors to meet together on the spur of the moment.

Visitors are encouraged to use the brand-new, open-to-all Community Hubs located in the show’s center, and on the opening day of the event, Monday, November 6, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, ExCel London will host a Networking Party where everyone is welcome.

A big-name, motivational Closing Keynote is scheduled for Wednesday, November 8th, along with the introduction of a new VIP badge for top industry professionals.

Buyers, VIPs, and media can book meetings via the show’s meeting booking tool, WTM Connect Me, when it returns in 2023. Additionally, everyone in attendance will have access to the official WTM App, which is back this year with exciting new upgrades.

Over the course of the three-day conference, eight themes will be covered in three parts. The eight conference themes—Sustainability, Technology, Geo-Economics, Emerging Markets, Consumer Trends, Marketing, Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) and Experience—are intended to inform, amuse, and influence the business decisions of the international travel community in order to help it succeed and thrive.

Because influencers are becoming more and more crucial to the travel and tourism industry, content creators will be invited to a lunch with international destinations on November 8 in order to foster networking and partnership opportunities.

Other changes include the return for a 17th year of the Ministers’ Summit at World Travel Market in Association with UNWTO and WTTC, which will be held on Day One, Monday, November 6, and brings together dignitaries from all over the world to discuss and ratify important tourism accords.

The November show’s planned Tuesday, November 7 opening of its inaugural Diversity and Inclusion Summit will reinforce WTM’s conviction that the travel industry has the ability to inspire positive change in the globe.

The three-day show’s tickets are free through October 31; thereafter, they cost £45 per person. To ensure that visitors have enough time to plan and make the most of their stay, organizers encourage early booking.
